Gründerkreis
The Citadel does not build itself. These are the tiers for those who understand that.
We are building a 50–100 acre production and residential compound in Southern California. A sound stage. Living spaces. Markets. A training center. A home. The kind of thing that gets handed down — not sold off.
We are German Americans. We built this country once. We are doing it again.
It will house a sound stage, thirteen live/work bungalows, a post-production hub, and one AI butcher who does not understand what "on the house" means. It will cost between $16 million and $23 million. We have been extremely transparent with ourselves about this.
Below are the Founding Patron tiers. Choose your tier. Join the ledger. The Narrator acknowledges you.
- Everything in the Sauerkraut Tier
- Name permanently etched in the physical Citadel ledger — on-compound, in stone
- Invitation to the Citadel groundbreaking ceremony
- Bruno acknowledges you by name in one episode — bureaucratically, formally, without warmth, but sincerely
- Founding Patron designation — in perpetuity, across all formats
- Everything in the Fleisch Tier
- Your name on an exterior housing unit plaque — permanent, weatherproof, visible
- Executive Producer credit on Season 1 of The Wurst Life
- Private video dispatch from Mr. Vogt on construction progress — unedited, direct
- Annual Village Dispatch — a personal update on the compound, the show, and the state of the sausage
- Everything in the Baumeister Tier
- Your name on the Sound Stage entrance — the first thing every cast and crew member sees, every single day
- An on-site visit to the compound during production — you will meet Bruno's hardware
- A named character reference written into the show — not a character, a reference, a legend, a whisper in the village
- A framed architectural blueprint of the Citadel, hand-signed by the Vogt family
- Your name on the Citadel compound itself — permanent naming rights on one structure
- Permanent on-site accommodations reserved for you annually — a bungalow, yours, every year
- Co-naming rights on one Citadel structure of your choosing — the sound stage, a housing wing, the loading dock, wherever feels right
- The Narrator reads your name aloud in the show. Not as a joke. As a fact.
- You are in the ledger before the ledger is built. You are why it gets built.
"The village does not ask where the money came from. The village asks only whether you believed in it early enough to matter. The ledger is open. The Narrator is waiting. The bratwurst, as always, is already ordered."
All patron tiers are donations to The Wurst Life Studios, a production entity based in Southern California.
Donations are not tax-deductible. Returns are not guaranteed. Your name on the sound stage is.
